I hadn't know that this part was replaceable or even available, until seeing the item on Amazon and reading reviews about it. I quickly ordered one and received it a few days later. Almost bought a Vita-Mix, but was given a heads ups about how much easier it is to clean the Blendtec. (No interior ridges.) We have smoothies every morning and I use "Betty" throughout the day for sauces, dressings and nut butters. It grinds things smooth. Makes the best tomato soup. Wish everyone could own one. Maybe we could get a government program for that too..... ...more
