Summary: GREAT KITCHEN TOOL, I'll never be without one!
... I got this one to give away because I was so pleased with mine that I got about six months ago. Great for making lump-free gravies and extra fluffy omelets. Clean up ia a breeze due to the way it seperates. I used it recently to make the smoothest strawberry pancake syrup.

... I bought this immersion blender to use to make my own baby food. After using it to make my first batch, I was sold. This thing is amazing. It works so fast, I was done in no time flat! It works well doing big batches or individual servings. I've also used it when making twice baked potatoes, and it works awesome for that, too. My husband always laughs at how excited I get about using it. :) I highly recommend this!

Well , i have short time with it, but my mom is very happy or sad ? with the last Oster blender of the year 1994, she tooked a lot to mix the food xD...Now i just hear the Cuisinart turned on like 5 seconds and i think its a lot of time hahahaha....that blender is awesome....i love it for mix drinks with 4 or 5 cubes of ice...the cubes got crushed very well and your warm drink get COLD in 3 seconds !!! i will recommend this blender to anyone that is in home....the only think i dont like...are the button`s they look`s ...more

So far it works as a replacement for an older ice-breaking blender from Cuisinart, since it appears this identical part is used in a newer model; our model was discontinued. This part, like Toyota gas pedals, suddenly stops working properly--it freezes and refuses to work. But there is no specific time for it's life cycle. However, unlike Toyota gas pedals, no one dies when it stops working. And costs less than a new blender to replace. ...more
