Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-05-19 Summary: good smoothie maker ... this is overall a good product. i had to buy a new one after 4 years because the gasket broke i couldn't find a replacement. my husband uses it almost daily to make smoothies. great at crushing ice and blending drinks. only 2 problems with the dispensing spout--it leaks a bit after each use, so makes a bit of a mess during a party when i'm not being proactive. it also has to be taken apart completely to effectively clean/sanitize (although i can't find a way to remove the smell of bananas from the soft piece, even ...more

I use alot of frozen fruit and I usually have to break up the fruit that clumps together when its all thrown in the blender but once it gets going it blends nicely and does not leave any huge chunks behind. Super easy to clean, i noticed some other posting saying it is hard to clean but I have not had that experience at all. I have gone through at least a 1/2 dozen blenders and ended up getting rid of them all because they never seemed to actually blend or break up the ice or fruit at all.
