Summary: Very Pleased
... You can not imagine how much trouble I had finding a pastry blender. This one is by far the best one I've used. The extended handle makes it easier to mash the food and the teflon coating makes cleanup a snap. I use it to mash avocados for guacamole or bananas for desserts and it really is so much easier than a fork. Very reasonably priced, too. Thanks a lot. Sherry Dennis, Mesquite, TX 3/9/08

Summary: Pastry Work Horse
... I was put off by several of the customer reviews criticizing this dough blender. I make tarts, pies, quiches, and you name it every week. I've owned this product for months now and it is joy to use. The performannce has been 100% dependable. It's strong and it feels good in my hand. I cut in butter with confidence. I have to suspect that some of the naysayers might have some kind of affiliation with marketing for a competing product. This one rocks.

Editorial Reviews [1] ... Review | This lightweight and easy-to-clean dough cutter is the tool of choice for making delicate piecrusts, biscuits, and pastries from scratch. Unlike an expensive food processor, it won't over-blend the ingredients, and it's much easier on your hands than using knives or forks. Simply rock the five gently curved blades back and forth over the fat and flour; they'll cut them together in a fraction of the time of the two-knife technique. Because the blades are nonstick, they clean up easily in the dishwasher
