Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-07-01
Summary: Use it all the time. Love it.
... It has very high build quality, works great (a bit noisy, but really all blenders are, this one no more so), looks great, and has a great warranty. Sadly, the motor gave out after a few months of use. We sent it back to the factory and had a new one waiting for us when we got home 2 days later. Great customer service as well! I couldn't recommend this more.

Summary: Great Blender
... This blender is powerful, easy to use and has no parts that typically leak in other blenders. We use it for smoothies, frozen drinks, salad dressings etc. It is fast and powerful and I am very happy with it. Bottom line it is powerful, fast and easy to clean.

Summary: the ideal blender
... I have to say it... this is *the* ideal blender. It's simple without a million options that don't mean anything. The construction is great. It's easy to clean. It also is shaped in a way that you can actually pour out of it without making a huge mess. It's exactly what I was looking for. For those who are wondering: I make lots of smoothies, mixed drinks, and soups. (Handles ice & frozen bananas very well.)

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-07-16 Summary: Pina Colada Machine ... Best bar blender going. Makes perfect Pina Coladas with ice cubes. Blends in two minute and is perfect every time. Now own two for two different locations. My daughter now owns one and loves it. Only problem is ss is small and therefore only two pina colada per jar. But two every two minutes is fine for most occasions. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-04-12 Summary: Great for the price ... Basic and simple. This is all you need. Bought this one to replace a more expensive Kitchen Aid blender that just quit working. ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-01-18 Summary: Sturdy, basic, quality ... I've had this blender for over a year, and it's worked great so far. Much smoother blends than the blenders I've had before. The simplicity is very nice- two speeds is all you really need for soup, smoothies, and mixed drinks. The motor is great- I haven't run it for more than a few minutes at a straight, or 15-20 minutes intermittently, but it never seems to strain or get that hot. It feels like it would happily run all day. My friends who have used it for mixed drinks want one now. My only negative is that the glass ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-05-21 Summary: Working great for us so far ... It was a tough decision to buy this blender because of the price (we had been using blenders in the $50-$100 range previously). I decided it should be worth it in the long run, though, since theoretically this should last us for life. We went ahead and got it 3 months ago and it has served us well so far. We use it at least twice a week. It's really powerful and is one of those that, if you blend something long enough, it will get quite hot. In other words, you could make soup with it. But we use it for smoothies and ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-03-09 Summary: Simple, powerful, commercial ... After spending several months researching commercial blenders, including visiting shops and linger till someone orders a drink; I decided on buying the lowest priced but highest rated hp commercial blender - the Waring MX1050. Glad I did - great machine, powerful, simple to operate (two speeds and did not need more for my use). The base is substantial, quality material and construction. I was worried about the noise but found it to be tolerable. Even though it's somewhat loud, the noise is that of the powerful motor ...more

[2] ... Review | Just the size and weight of this blender indicates it is a professional grade workhorse. Weighing 15 pounds and standing 19 inches tall, with an oversized base measuring 9 inches square, the blender takes on a prodigious appearance. The supercharged three-horsepower motor and large blades will crush ice with ease and smoothly blend fruit drinks and soups. Only two speeds, high and low, are available, which should cover most needs. The pulse feature is ideal for creating large-particle foods such as...more
Waring Professional Kitchen Blender
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-04-25 Summary: Solid blender ... We've had the this blender for about 6 months now and are fully satisfied with it. It got especially heavy use (more than once/day for several weeks) after someone in our house had oral surgery. It is noisy and nostalgic as others have eloquently written; it is reliable and shows no signs of disintegrating. Rather, its done an excellent job disintegrating ice, pecans, & everything else we've thrown into it. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-03-31 Summary: 8 years and running strong - just needs a small upgrade ... My wife and I got this for our wedding present 8 years ago. Before we had kids we made margarita's and Pina Colada's regularly. I remember after a month the motor stopped so I popped the bottom off and noticed a fine looking motor with a "conservative" fuse. I went to the hardware store and picked up the next two size fuses because in my opinion we just needed more power. I only had to use the next size up and we haven't replaced anything since. I'd say after 8 years we've probably loaded and crushed full ice cubes ...more
